Social Security, Women & Child Development department invites applications for State Award To Physically Handicapped-2018
Giving impetus to the directions of the Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister, Punjab, Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary the Social Security, Women & Child Development department has invited applications from the eligible differently abled people or the institutions that have done pioneering work for the welfare of differently abled, for the conferring of State Award to Physically Handicapped-2018. The award would be conferred on the occasion of ‘World Disabled Day’ on 3rd December, 2018.
Disclosing this here today, the Director, Social Security, Women & Child Development department, Punjab, Mrs. Kavita Singh has said that the eligible applicants can procure the proforma from the office of the respective District Social Security Officers and submit the same in the office of the concerned District Security Officer itself. The last date for submitting the applications complete in all respects is 30th September, 2018.
Divulging more, Mrs. Kavita Singh said that there would be 4 categories in which the awards would be given namely- Best Employee/Self Employed with disabilities (Total 6 awards), Award for Best Employers (Total 1 award), Award for Best Individual and Institution Working for the cause of persons with disabilities (2 awards in Best Individual category and 2 in Best Institution/NGO category), and Award for Best Sportsperson with disability
