Deceased NRI has been identified as Jaspal Ram: Police
JALANDHAR: A NRI Man killed in a terrible road accident in Jalandhar district in Punjab. The man died on the spot after two motorcycles collided at Muthada Khurd Village, near Goraya.
As per the reports, one person has suffered critical injuries in the accident. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. The deceased NRI has been identified as Jaspal Ram son of Anant Ram resident of Brahmapuri.
According to the information received, Jaspal returned to India from abroad after about 25 years. In this regard, ASI Jai Gopal said that due to the collision of motorcycles, NRI Jaspal Ram died on the spot and another person was seriously injured and is admitted to the hospital. The body of the deceased has been taken into possession and sent to Civil Hospital Phillaur for post-mortem. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
