Chandigarh: Trashing the baseless, illogical and unfounded allegations leveled against him, Punjab Industries Minister Sunder Sham Arora termed BJP leader's reaction as nothing more than a result of political frustration at being humiliated by farmers all around the country.
Daring him for a lie-detector test to expose his falsehood further, Arora said it is not Tikshan's fault to say what he is saying because a person who has been time and again rejected by people can lose it somehow, Arora said.

Ridiculing the allegation of Tikshan Sood, Senior leader BJP and Arvind Mittal GS BJP about the corruption in industry department of Punjab and the allegation that Industries and Commerce Minister sold the government land for industries on very less rates to the industrialists by pressurizing the board of Directors of PSIC (Punjab State Industrial Corporation) and further the scandal is near about Rs 450 crores and demanding of enquiry from CBI and ED, a spokesperson of the Department of Industries and Commerce clarified that the auction of the Plot no A-32, Phase VIII, SAS Nagar (Mohali) measuring 31 acres which was allotted to M/s JCT Electronics on 99 years lease hold basis by Punjab Infotech on 14/09/1984 was done by ARCIL (and not by any state agencies) appointed by the Official liquidator who was appointed by Punjab and Haryana High court as M/s JCT Electronics Ltd. failed to fulfil its financial obligations to the bankers/ financial institutions the case was referred to Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) and vide order dated 26/08/2016, Punjab and Haryana High court ordered the company to be wound up and Official Liquidator was appointed to take over the assets of the Company.
Moreover, BJP has been exposed and vilified by farmers nationwide and people of Punjab would teach them a lesson in next polls as well, he added.
Losing elections twice from Hoshiarpur has affected Tikshan and it is normal for him to make incongruous statements which are nothing more than a diversionary tactic in face of public revolt against him for his insensitive statements against farmers, Arora added.

I am answerable to the people of Punjab & not to these political leaders who have been rejected by the electorates twice.
