'Whoever commits a mistake in the 'AAP' party will be punished'- CM Mann

CHANDIGARH: On the second day of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha session, a heated debate erupted between Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa.

Taking a jibe at Partap Bajwa, CM Mann said that he can tolerate the slander of Punjab, but will not tolerate the slander of the Congress. He said that whoever commits a mistake in the 'AAP' party will be punished. Along with this, he also talked about the relationship of Congress leaders with gangsters.

On the other side, Slamming CM Mann-led state government, Partap Bajwa asked how many issues's investigation is still pending in Punjab?, CM Mann said that investigation of every case takes time and everyone will have their turn. He said that whoever has eaten the money of Punjab, the money will be withdrawn. On this, Partap Singh Bajwa said that if this is the system, then why no action was taken against former minister Fauja Singh Sarari.

The Chief Minister also questioned Partap Singh Bajwa about the Congress leaders joining the BJP and mockingly asked Partap Bajwa that former Congress leaders Captain Amarinder Singh, Sunil Jakhar, Gurdeep Kangar, Balbir Singh Sidhu, Manpreet Badal and Fateh Jung Bajwa- Where are all of them? He said that if the government changes, it does not mean that you will be saved, if you have eaten the money of Punjab, then you will definitely be punished. 

Talking about Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, CM Mann said, "Congress leader Rahul Gandhi questions the relationship between PM Modi and Adani, but in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, Congress has given complete importance to Adani."

Pratap Bajwa also questioned Delhi CM and AAP Convener, Arvind Kejriwal's guarantee of collecting Rs 20,000 crores annually from sand, to which CM Mann said that he would clarify everything during his budget speech.

CM Mann added, "I'll tell everyone how many congressmen's mafias have been caught, in which former CM Charanjit Singh Channi and his favorite leaders sitting in the House are also present." The CM also taunted Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira for playing tweet-tweet. Partap Singh Bajwa said whether the Punjab government will compensate PSPCL's loss of Rs 22,000 crore.
