The Punjab Government has decided to sale the plots of PSIEC through E- Auction. Disclosing this in a press communiqué released here today Mr. Sundar Sham Arora said that Punjab Small Industry & Export Corporation (PSIEC) would do away with the practice of sale of its industrial plots through draw of lots instead the plots would be sold through e-auction .

Mr. Arora said that the Focal Points at Ludhiana, Abohar, Raikot, Pathankot, Bathinda, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Goindwal, Mandi Gobindgarh, Batala and Kapurthala would be sold in the first phase, whereas Commercial sites of Focal Points at S.A.S. Nagar, Patiala and Ludhiana would be sold through e-auction in the first phase. He also said that these e-auctions would be done through www.psiec.in and etender.punjabgovt.gov.in.

Mr. Arora said that earlier the allotment of industrial plots was executed under the notified police of Punjab Government. He said that under previous polices, applications were invited from the general public by PSIEC and after this respective committees would conduct interviews and final allotment of plots were executed through draw of lots. Mr. Arora said that now this practice of sale of industrial plots be substituted with the e-auction process.
