The cases of corona virus are increasing day by day in Punjab. Similarly, 56 new cases have been registered in Punjab in the last 24 hours.

Chandigarh: The cases of corona virus are increasing day by day in Punjab. Similarly, 56 new cases have been registered in Punjab in the last 24 hours.

Since then the total number of cases of corona virus in the state has increased to 2510 and at the same time the news of relief is that so far 2043 people have been cured of this epidemic.

CoronavirusThe highest number of 23 cases was reported in Ludhiana. The number of victims in Amritsar district has risen to 405 after 15 more people became infected. Similarly in Pathankot also new cases are continuously coming to light as 4 new cases have been reported.

Four new cases have been reported in Jalandhar, three in Bathinda, one each in Fazilka, Muktsar, Ropar, Nawanshahr, Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Gurdaspur.

CoronavirusThe health department says that out of 39 new cases, 8 are from other countries or states. But there have also been cases where the source of the infection has not been identified. So far 49 people have died in the state.

The health department claims that about 90 per cent of these deaths were due to some form of disease. It may be mentioned that at present 325 persons are undergoing treatment in the state.
