SPOKESMAN NEWS SERVICE: CHANDIGARH, DECEMBER 3: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday mourned the passing away of noted industrialist and former Chairman Punjab Committee of PHD Chamber Amarjit Goyal, who breathed his last yesterday evening.

In his condolence message, the Chief Minister recalled the outstanding contribution of Amarjit Goyal in promoting industry in the state. He lauded the relentless work done by Goyal for the revival of industry and for safeguarding the interests of the local industry.

Amarjit Goyal was a progressive industrialist, who had always proactively engaged in the overall growth and development of the state industry, said Capt Amarinder, lamenting the void left behind by him.

Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, relatives and friends, Captain Amarinder Singh prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the family, relatives and friends in their hour of grief.
