District Moga has bagged the first position in the country in the field of raising awareness among the people about Swachh Bharat Mission

District Moga has bagged the first position in the country in the field of raising awareness among the people about the Swachh Bharat Mission launched by the Government of India-National ‘Gandgi Mukt Bharat’ award. The event was conducted virtually.

Sharing information in this regard Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans said that under this mission people in the country especially in rural areas were being sensitized about keeping their surroundings clean, use of toilets and water conservation.

 Swachh BharatSwachh BharatFor the same purpose, the Ministry of Jal Shakti had sought nominations in three categories (Swachh Sunder Samudayak Sochalaya, Samudayak Sochalaya Abhiyan, Gandagi Mukt Bharat). District Moga bagged the first position in the Gandagi Mukt Bharat Campaign.

He said that under this campaign awareness was spread in district Moga through IEC (Wall Painting and Other Means) medium, which was highly appreciated by the Union Ministry of Jal Shakti.
