The bye election 2024 at Jalandhar West seat was necessitated after the resignation of Sheetal Angural.
Jalandhar West Bypoll Result 2024 LIVE: The counting of votes for the Jalandhar West bypoll result 2024 took place on Saturday with a total of 15 candidates in the fray aiming to be elected as the next Jalandhar West MLA. However, AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat has won the elections significantly.

Jalandhar West Bypoll Result 2024 has been a major setback to Sheetal Angural who switched sides and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. On the other hand, BSP candidate also suffered a major defeat while Congress candidate Surinder Kaur too witnessed a huge defeat.
Notably, 34 Jalandhar West is an Assembly constituency in Punjab, located in the Jalandhar district and Doaba region of Punjab.
