
Chandigarh: Minimum temperatures stayed close to the normal level at most places in Punjab and Haryana today.
UT Chandigarh, joint capital of the two states, recorded a low of 10.9 degrees Celsius, an official of the MeT department said.
In Punjab, the mercury in Amritsar settled at 8.7 degrees. Ludhiana and
Patiala recorded minimum temperatures of 11.9 and 11.4 degrees Celsius.
In Pathankot the minimum settled at 9.8 degrees,Gurdaspur 7.5 degrees,
Adampur 8.2 degrees, Faridkot 10.6 degrees and Bathinda 9 degrees
Celsius respectively.
In Haryana, the minimum temperatures in
Ambala was 11.5 degrees, Hisar 10.2 degrees and Bhiwani 11.2 degrees
Celsius. In Karnal it settled at 10.4 degrees, Narnaul 9 degrees, Rohtak
11.7 degrees and Sirsa 9.7 degrees Celsuis respectively.
