Four arrested, 74 kgs of ganja seized near Yavatmal

Yavatmal: Four people were arrested and 74 kilograms of ganja was seized in Arni, some 35 kilometres from here, police said today.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Assistant Police Inspector Santosh Manwar nabbed the four from Kathodi village yesterday night, they added.

Police said that the contraband was worth Rs 5.89 lakh in the illegal drug market. A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and further investigations were underway, police said. PTI
