J&K Security Forces Foil Infiltration in Keran sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district News: Security forces prevented an infiltration attempt on Sunday, killing two terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Keran sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district, the Greater Kashmir reported.
According to official sources cited in the report, the movement of armed infiltrators across the LoC in the area was seen, and security forces responded promptly and succeeded in foiling the infiltration.
"Both the terrorists were neutralized during the operation," they are quoted as saying in the report.
Citing an earlier statement of Inspector General of BSF Kashmir Frontier, Ashok Yadav, the report added that the security forces are maintaining maximum vigilance along the Line of Control (LoC) to counter infiltration attempts by terrorists ahead of the winter season.
