How did 13-Year-Old Afghan Boy Reached Delhi Hidden in Flight from Kabul Latest News: A 13-year-old Afghan boy, driven by what officials described as “curiosity,” arrived at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi after hiding in the landing gear compartment, according to a report by India Today.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday morning, and the flight landed at Delhi airport at 11:00 AM after a two-hour journey from Kabul.
According to official sources cited in the report, the young boy managed to enter the restricted zone at Kabul airport and hid in the rear central landing gear compartment of KAM Air flight RQ-4401. Airline personnel, upon noticing the boy roaming near the aircraft after landing, alerted airport security.
The boy, a resident of Kunduz city in northern Afghanistan, was apprehended by airline staff and handed over to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for questioning at Terminal 3. The boy claimed that he entered the aircraft out of curiosity, as reported by PTI, according to the India Today report.
The boy was sent back to Afghanistan on the same aircraft, and the flight departed from Delhi around 12:30 PM on Sunday.
The report further stated that security personnel from KAM Air Airlines conducted a thorough inspection of the landing gear compartment and discovered a small red speaker, which was believed to be the boy’s. The aircraft was declared safe after thorough checks, including anti-sabotage measures.
