Visakhapatnam Road Accident News: In a distressing incident in Visakhapatnam, a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a lorry has left around eight school children seriously injured. The incident occurred near Sangam Sharat Theater, and a video capturing the harrowing accident has quickly gone viral on social media, garnering over 20 thousand views.
The Collision took place between seven and eight in the morning when an auto carrying eight school children collided with a speeding lorry. The impact of the collision was so intense that the auto overturned, leading to several children falling onto the road. Promptly responding to the scene, bystanders rushed to the aid of the injured children and transported them to a nearby hospital.
In the video footage, a lorry can be seen speeding through an intersection, and immediately after passing, the auto collides with it. The force of the collision resulted in the overturning of the auto, causing significant harm to the young passengers.

According to DCP Srinivas Rao, the collision occurred at the Sangam Sharath Theater Junction, and all eight school children were injured in the accident. The injured students were swiftly taken to the hospital, where four of them have been discharged, while three are currently undergoing treatment. The video clearly depicts the high speed of both vehicles, underscoring the severity of the collision.
Notably, Authorities are likely to conduct an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the accident and assess if any measures can be implemented to prevent such incidents in the future.
