Prime Minister Shares Soulful Devotional Rendition for Navratri Latest News: On the first day of Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the festival is about "pure devotion" and shared a YouTube link to a 'soulful rendition' by Pandit Jasraj. In his message, the PM also invited people to share their own favorite devotional songs, saying, "If you have sung a bhajan or have a favorite one, please share it with me. I will be posting some of them in the coming days!"

Earlier, while extending his greetings on the occasion of Navratri, the Prime Minister said, "Today marks the special worship of Goddess Shailputri during Navratri. I wish that with the Mother's love and blessings, everyone's life is filled with good fortune and health."

The new GST 2.0—what PM Modi called as 'Bachat Utsav'—came into effect today on the first day of Navratri. In a separate post, he said, "This auspicious occasion of Navratri is very special. Along with the celebration of GST savings, the mantra of Swadeshi will receive a new energy during this time. Let us join forces to achieve our resolve for a developed and self-reliant India."

Yesterday, in his address to the nation ahead of the GST implementation, the Prime Minister urged Indians to choose made-in-India products, asserting that products that can be produced within India should indeed be produced here. He also emphasized that MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) have a key role in India's journey toward becoming a self-reliant and developed nation.
