
"We want to stand by the truth, we want to know the exact cause"
Parliament's Monsoon Session 2025 Latest News Today: Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, on Monday informed the Rajya Sabha, during the Monsoon Session in Parliament, that the government has been waiting for the final report related to the Ahmedabad's deadliest Air India plane crash,h which claimed the lives of over 260 people.
"We want to stand by the truth, we want to know the exact cause", said Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu in his address to the Rajya Sabha during the Parliament's Monsoon Session 2025.
Informing the house on the progress of the investigation, Ram Mohan Naidu said, "The exact cause of the incident will only come after the final report is submitted, and only then can we take the required measures. We have taken all the measures needed until now, and we are following the same as well."

"We have the best safety mechanism in India," he said, adding that the government wants to bring it down to zero when it comes to plane crash incidents. "We are open for suggestions."
He further said that "Even today, 2,999 and 624 flights made departures today, domestically and internationally, respectively." Likewise, over 3,500 flights are taking departures every day, he said, adding that, daily, over 5 lakh passengers are taking flights safely.
