On August 8, the police found her body at an empty plot in Uttar Pradesh’s Bilaspur. 

Uttarakhand Nurse Rape and Murder Case Latest news: Amidst the intense rage following the horrific rape and murder of a trainee doctor in Kolkata, another crime has been reported from Uttarakhand where a nurse was raped and killed by a drug addict. The accused left her body in an empty plot in Uttar Pradesh.

In the meanwhile, the investigation started in the Uttarakhand nurse rape and murder case on July 31 soon after her sister filed a missing report at Rudrapur Kotwali as she did not return home the previous day.

Uttarakhand rape and murder case: 

As per the reports, the nurse who was a mother of an 11-year-old girl did not return home on July 30 after her duty. She was working at a private hospital in Rudrapur. 

The CCTV footage from the Indra Chowk in Rudrapur showed the nurse getting on to an e-rickshaw to return to home on July 30. Likewise, a suspicious man was seen following her in the CCTV footage.

Later on August 8, the police found her body at an empty plot in Uttar Pradesh’s Bilaspur.
