At least eight persons, including five children, were today killed and two others seriously injured

 At least eight persons, including five children, were today killed and two others seriously injured when their tempo collided with a dumper truck in Chitrakoot district, police said.Ten persons were travelling in the tempo when it collided with the truck coming from the opposite direction, killing eight of them on the spot and critically injuring two other children, Superintendent of Police (SP) Manoj Kumar Jha said.?tempo accidenttempo accidentHe said that the age of the children would have been between 6-10 years and the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.
The injured were admitted to a hospital, while the bodies of the deceased was sent for post-mortem, the SP said.The dumper truck was seized, while efforts are on to nab the absconding driver, he said.
