New Delhi: The corona virus is spreading rapidly in the country. In the last 24 hours, 3722 new cases have come to light in the country and 134 people have died. So far, more than 78,000 people across the country have been infected with the virus.

CoronavirusAs per the update released on Wednesday, the total number of cases in the country has now risen to 78,003 and out of them 2,549 people has died and 26,235 people have been cured of the virus.

At present, there are 49,219 active cases in the country. The worst affected state in the country is Maharashtra, where the number of cases of the corona virus has reached 26,000 and 975 people has lost their lives due to the epidemic.

In Gujarat, the number of cases of corona virus has reached 9,267 and 566 people have died here.

CoronavirusCoronavirus infection is also on the rise in Tamil Nadu. So far, 9,227 cases have been confirmed, in which 64 people have died. At the same time, the number of corona patients in Delhi has reached close to 8,000. According to the ministry's update, the total number of patients in Delhi is 7,998, of which 106 have died.

In Rajasthan, 4,328 cases have come to light in which 121 people have died. In Madhya Pradesh, 4173 cases have come to light so far in which 232 people have died.

The number of corona patients has also increased in Uttar Pradesh. There have been 3729 confirmed cases so far and 83 people have lost their lives in the epidemic.
