Botswana Gifts 8 cheetahs to India at Mokolodi Nature Reserve
Botswana on Thursday handed over 8 cheetahs to India at Mokolodi Nature Reserve. President Droupadi Murmu and President of Botswana Duma Gideon Boko were both present at the reserve, news agency ANI reported.

President Droupadi Murmu said, "...The gifting of these cheetahs is a reflection of Botswana's commitment to wildlife conservation. These cheetahs will join their brothers and sisters in India's Kuno National Park, helping us to restore the species of this historical habitat..."
President Droupadi Murmu Addresses the Indian Community in Gaborone, Botswana:
The President, along with the Indian community, paid tribute to the victims of the Delhi blast by observing a minute of silence.
The president, addressing the community, said, "This moment is even more historic as India and Botswana celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations in 2026...I have been told that 10,000 Indians are actively involved in different sectors, including business and industry, in Botswana. I congratulate you all on being proud ambassadors of India."
