False allegations are being made against me: MP Raghav Chadha

NEW-DELHI: In a heated exchange of accusations, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha has openly challenged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the ongoing controversy regarding "fake signatures." Chadha, known for his vocal stance, accused the BJP of spreading falsehoods during a press conference addressing the matter.

"I dare the BJP leaders to present the papers allegedly containing these 'forged signatures' before me," Raghav Chadha boldly declared. He further said, "False allegations are being made against me. According to the rule book of the Parliament, any MP can propose the name for the formation of any committee and neither the signature nor the written consent of the person whose name is proposed is required but lie was spread that forged signatures were done."

Chadha's remarks came in response to allegations that he had included the names and signatures of five MPs without proper consent on a resolution in the Rajya Sabha, aiming to refer the Delhi Services Bill to the Select Committee. This accusation has sparked a significant uproar, leading to the challenging statement by Raghav Chadha in an attempt to clear his name.
