Amid escalating hostilities in the region, Pakistan on Saturday alleged that India launched coordinated missile and drone strikes on three Pakistani Air Force bases.
Lt Gen Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, the official spokesperson for the Pakistan military, addressed the media in a late-night press conference, revealing that air bases in Nur Khan (Rawalpindi), Murid (Chakwal), and Rafiqui (Shorkot, Jhang district) were targeted. Despite the reported attacks, Chaudhry emphasized that all military assets remained unharmed.
“There has been no loss to our operational capability. All assets are safe,” he affirmed.
Issuing a stark warning to India, Chaudhry declared, “Now just wait for our response,” hinting at potential military retaliation.
This development follows a series of cross-border exchanges and growing military operations, including India’s ongoing Operation Sindoor. Official Indian confirmation or denial is awaited.
