The officer said that an auto-rickshaw driver passing through the area objected to a motorcycle parked on the road. When he asked the owner of the motorcycle to remove it from the road, the latter started arguing, he said. "Soon, the argument turned into a clash and members of both the communities started attacking each other. Six persons belonging to both the communities sustained minor injuries in stone pelting. We rushed to the site and fired three teargas shells to bring the situation under control," he said. An offense has been registered in this regard. No arrest has been made so far, Sangtyani added.
