Now in lunar orbit, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft is set to undertake four orbits around the moon before it prepares for its descent towards the lunar surface. The mission has planned to land on the moon's surface on August 23, pending the successful execution of the remaining stages. Additionally, the Chandrayaan 2 orbiter, still orbiting the Moon, will serve as a backup relay if required.

The successful progress of Chandrayaan-3 signifies India's continuous strides in space exploration, showcasing the nation's scientific and technological capabilities. With each milestone achieved, ISRO brings the world closer to unraveling the mysteries of our celestial neighbor.
