RCB Marketing and Revenue head Nikhil Sosale arrested latest news; Bengaluru Police have arrested Nikhil Sosale, the Marketing and Revenue Head of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Diageo India, in connection with the stampede at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium that killed 11 RCB fans, India Today reported.

According to the India Today report, CC was taken into custody at Bengaluru airport when he was reportedly flying to Mumbai.

In a separate development, three staff members of DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt. Ltd., the organisers of the victory celebrations, were also detained by the police, the report said.

In addition to RCB, the event management company and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) are also being named as accused, according to the report.

Additionally, KSCA officials are reportedly on the run. When police reached their residence, they were not present.

Reports suggest that the RCB management did not consult the police before announcing the victory parade. Their announcement went viral with millions of views, and it was only later that they approached the police for permission, which was denied.
