Any faith or belief system that fails to grant equal rights is not a genuine religion but rather a 'disease'- Priyanka Kharge

NEW-DELHI: In response to Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader Udhayanidhi Stalin's recent remarks concerning 'Sanatan,' the Congress party conveyed its perspective on the matter. The Congress emphasized that every political party possesses the right to express its opinions but reiterated its unwavering commitment to upholding equality across all religions.

While addressing the issue, Priyanka Chaturvedi, leader of Shiv Sena (United Progressive Alliance), directed her comments towards the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She accused the BJP of displaying 'feigned concern' for Sanatan Dharma as a political tactic and labeled it as hypocrisy.
