Chinnaswamy Stadium Stampede During RCB Victory Parade Post IPL 2025: Celebrations turned tragic in Bengaluru on Wednesday after a stampede-like situation broke out near the M Chinnaswamy Stadium during what was believed to be a victory parade for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). At least seven people are feared dead, and 15 others injured, with three currently in critical condition.

The injured have been admitted to Bowring Hospital and Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, according to hospital sources.

The tragedy unfolded as massive crowds gathered outside the stadium, hoping to catch a glimpse of the RCB men’s cricket team, who clinched their maiden IPL title this season after an 18-year wait. The situation spiraled out of control as conflicting announcements created confusion among the public.

Despite earlier reports that the victory parade had been cancelled, thousands gathered in anticipation. The Bengaluru Traffic Police, while initially stating there would be no procession, later said “preparations had been made in case it happens,” adding to the public's uncertainty.

It remains unclear what exactly triggered the stampede-like rush.
