Delhi doctor murder latest news today: In a shocking incident, a doctor was shot dead by two unidentified individuals inside Neema Hospital in the Jaitpur area of Delhi on Wednesday. 

The victim, identified as Dr Javed Akhtar, a Unani practitioner (BUMS), was attacked in his clinic by the accused, who had initially arrived at the hospital seeking medical attention for an injury.

According to the police, the duo asked to meet Dr. Akhtar after receiving an appointment. Once inside his cabin, they shot him at point-blank range and quickly fled the scene. CCTV footage from the hospital shows the suspects exiting the premises shortly after the attack.

The District Crime Team and Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) from Rohini were called to the scene for investigation. "A search is currently underway for the absconding assailants. We are reviewing CCTV footage to track them down, and all aspects of the case are being thoroughly investigated," said a police spokesperson.

This incident follows another shooting in Delhi just a day earlier, where a 36-year-old caretaker was killed in Dwarka after intervening in a dispute between tenants over loud music. Police are actively investigating both cases.
