As of now, there has been no information about the cause of the fire at the Baddi Perfume Factory.

Himachal Pradesh's Baddi Perfume Factory Fire Latest News: As many as nine people are reportedly missing after a massive fire broke out at NR aroma perfume factory in the Baddi industrial area of Himachal Pradesh's Solan district. The tragic incident has left over 31 people injured.

As of now, there has been no information about the cause of the fire at the Baddi Perfume Factory while a forensic team has already been deployed to probe the matter. Solan Deputy Commissioner Manmohan Sharma said that some workers managed to run home, and they are trying to verify their names. Reportedly, nine people were still missing while the authorities have been making all the possible efforts to trace them.

In the meanwhile, the adjacent buildings have been evacuated, and the affected area has been cordoned off, as a precautionary measure. As per the eyewitnesses, thick smoke coming out from the cosmetic materials within the factory affected firefighting efforts. 

Solan Deputy Commissioner Manmohan Sharma also said that more than 50 people were present within the factory premises when the fire broke out. To escape the flames, the workers trapped inside the factory resorted to jumping from the first and second floors of the building which resulted in multiple injuries. Later, the injured people were taken to various medical facilities for their treatment.

As many as 12-13 fire tenders from Nalagarh, Baddi, Parwanoo, Haryana, and the Chandimandir Army station, were deployed to the scene to take control of the situation. Even the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) joined the rescue operations at Jhadmazri. It was tough for the fire tenders to douse the flames as the inflammable substances and other cosmetics caught fire.
