IFS Officer Juhi Jalota Appointed Deputy Passport Officer at Chandigarh RPO

Indian Foreign Service officer Juhi Jalota on Monday assumed charge as Deputy Passport Officer and Head of Office at the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Chandigarh.

A 2018-batch IFS officer, she succeeds Priyanka Mehtani (IFS 2015) in the role. Jalota will be responsible for overseeing passport services for Chandigarh as well as parts of Punjab and Haryana that fall under the jurisdiction of the Regional Passport Office.

Prior to this posting, she served at Indian Missions in Madrid, Spain, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has also worked at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi in various capacities during her career in the Indian Foreign Service.
