Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following renewed demand from soaps and shippers industries. While refined palmolein eased further owing to lower demand from retailers. Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseed oil ruled steady in absence of any large-scale buying activity.

In the non-edible segments, castor seeds bold regained by Rs 10 to Rs 4,125 per 100 kg from Friday's closing level of Rs 4,115 and castor oil commercial edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 855 per 10 kg as against Rs 853. Linseed oil ended unaltered to Rs 815 per 10 kg. Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein softened by Rs 3 to Rs 706 per 10 kg as compared to Rs 709 yesterday and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 845 per 10 kg.
