Tin prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market today due to stockists' selling amid subdued demand from alloy industries. Elsewhere, copper armiture, copper utensils, zinc and lead also eased due to sluggish demand from industrial users. While copper scrap heavy and brass sheet cuttings gained due to good demand from consuming industries. Tin declines by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,450 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,460.

Copper utensils moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 441 as against Rs 444 and zinc edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 233 from Rs 235 yesterday. Copper armiture and lead softened by a Re per kg to Rs 466 and Rs 174. However, brass sheet cuttings recovered by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 363 as compared Rs 360 and copper scrap heavy edged up by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 477 from Rs 475.
