Punjab is becoming a center for international construction under the effective leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann.

Construction activities are gaining momentum in Punjab, with many international and national companies either opening or planning to open manufacturing centers in the state. Recently, the Chief Minister granted permission to Modern Automotives to expand their plant. A delegation from the company met with the Chief Minister, informing him that Modern Automotives has become the first company in India to receive approval to manufacture BMW car parts. The company has secured an order for 25 lakh units of differential pinion shafts, valued at Rs 150 crore. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the company's plant in Mandi Gobindgarh next month, expressing pride that BMW components will now be manufactured in Punjab.

After meeting with the delegation, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the construction of this plant will open up new employment opportunities for the youth of the state. He emphasized that thousands of young people will benefit from this initiative, reiterating the Punjab government's commitment to making the state prosperous.

Furthermore, Tata Steel has announced a Rs 2,600 crore investment in Ludhiana. All necessary approvals for this steel plant have been issued, and construction is currently underway, with completion scheduled for 2025.

Notably, a few months ago, Tynor Orthotics, a medical company specializing in equipment for bone patients, opened a new manufacturing facility in Mohali with an investment of Rs 800 crore. This facility is Tynor's largest to date and is equipped with technology to produce a variety of healthcare solutions. The company aims to create 3,000 jobs through this facility, particularly for economically disadvantaged women.
