Patna: In the 210th Monsoon Session of Bihar Legislative Council, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Vijay Kumar Sinha and Leader of Opposition Rabri Devi reached Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh's chamber and welcomed him by offering flowers. After the proceedings of the House started, he greeted all the members in his initial address. Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh said that in the total 5 meetings proposed in this session, there will be meaningful discussions on as many topics related to state interest and development as possible. The government is sensitive towards the educational upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. Mental pension scheme has been arranged for senior and economically weak artists. Financial assistance to promote the Guru-Shishya tradition for the preservation, promotion and development of art culture is welcome in the art world.
