Physical test for the recruitment of 210 jail warders and 57 matrons be commenced from October 24...

Jail Department has initiated the process for the recruitment of 210 Jail warders and Matrons. The physical test for the recruitment of these posts be commenced from October 24 at Bathinda (Police Lines), Jaladhar (PAP Ground), Patiala (Police Lines) and at Amritsar (stadium near Civil Hospital, Manawala Kalan, Amritsar). Applications for these posts were invited in the year 2016.

Disclosing this official spokesperson of the Jails Department said that all the candidates have been intimated about the commencement of physical test by sending messages on the mobile number and email. Ids they have provided in their application forms. He said that candidates can download their admit cards from the website www.punjabpolicerecruitment.in.

He said that in case any candidate faces any difficulty in downloading admit card, he may take assistance in this regard by calling helpline numbers 73409-64348 and 75288-74225 from 9 am to 6 pm on any working days of October 20, 21 & 22. All the candidates have been asked to carry admit cards and other required documents with them, in the absence of these documents physical test of the candidate would not be taken.
