Himachal Pradesh's Shimla Landslide news

Himachal Pradesh's Shimla Landslide news: In a heartbreaking incident near Ashwani Khud on Junga road in Shimla, two laborers from Bihar lost their lives in a devastating landslide. The tragedy unfolded as the laborers were asleep in makeshift shelters, close to a stone crusher.  Amid the chaos, five laborers were fortunate enough to escape the calamity. However, Rakesh (31) and Rajesh (40) were not as fortunate as they got trapped under the debris, and despite rescue efforts, their lives could not be saved.

The loss of these two lives highlights the precarious working conditions faced by laborers in such environments. The incident also raises concerns about safety measures at construction sites and the need for stricter regulations to prevent such tragedies. As the community mourns the loss of these two individuals, there is a pressing call for authorities to investigate the circumstances leading to the landslide and to take necessary steps to ensure the safety of laborers working in similar conditions.
