Karnal: An 18-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by three persons, living in her neighbourhood, in Haibatpur village. The police have booked the trio, but no arrest has been made so far.
Karnal: An 18-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by three persons, living in her neighbourhood, in Haibatpur village. The police have booked the trio, but no arrest has been made so far.
The girl’s family members today met SP Jashandeep Singh Randhawa and demanded arrest of the accused. They alleged that the girl was kidnapped on the late evening of July 17 when she was walking with her friend.
They filed a complaint with the police, but no action had been initiated. On the next day, she was found in Nilokheri. The victim said that she was gangraped after being kidnapped by three persons— Daljeet Singh, Kuldeep Singh and Pragat Singh.
Her family members also alleged the involvement of kidnappers’ family in the case. “On a complaint by victim’s family, the police have registered a case against the trio and the inquiry is going on,” said SP.
