Amrinder Gill's film turned out to be the victim of tensions between India and Pakistan.

'Chal Mera Putt 4' is a Punjabi film which is a sequel to its previous 3 parts. All three of them have won hearts of the fans not only in India but across the world. 

However, the film turned out to be the victim of tensions between India and Pakistan. Since 'Chal Mera Putt 4' features Pakistani actors such as Iftikhar Thakur, Akram Udaas, and Nasir Chinyoti, the CBFC has denied permission for releasing the film in India. 

Is Chal Mera Putt 4 banned in India?

Yes! There will be no release date in India for Chal Mera Putt 4 as the film has been denied permission to hit theatres in India because of the involvement of Pakistani actors in the film. 

Despite the film being shot before the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the filmmakers are facing the heat. Chal Mera Putt 4 is not the first film to face the heat as Diljit Dosanjh-starrer Sardaar Ji 3 also faced the heat and wasn't allowed to release in India. 

Chal Mera Putt 4 OTT Platform Release Date in India: 

While the film is not being allowed to release in India, there is uncertainty over the film's release on any OTT platform in India. Even if it lands on some OTT platform, it would be interesting to see if the film will be allowed to stream for Indian audiences or not.
