Shree Brar took to Instagram to share his grievances and experiences, stating, “Sat Sri Akal ji Sariyan Nu, I want to share something important with you all. We have officially lodged a complaint against Pinky Dhaliwal for the deceitful acts he committed against us, backed by proof. First of all, I feel proud of Sunanda Sharma for bravely fighting this battle.”
He went on to reveal that he had raised the issue with then-Chief Minister Charanjit Channi about two to three years ago, but no resolution was achieved. Instead, he claims he was blackmailed and pressured from all sides, leaving him with no choice but to abandon his fight.
“Their power was such that they even changed my phone number linked to my bank account to theirs, taking full control over my financial matters. Just like Sunanda Sharma, I never received my rightful earnings. The level of power they hold is terrifying,” he added.
Shree Brar further explained that the problem is more significant than people perceive. According to him, Pinky Dhaliwal and his associates have connections with many individuals within the industry. Anyone who dares to speak against them or demand their rightful dues faces industry-wide boycotts, personal attacks, and character assassination.
“Their wealth and influence allow them to manipulate people and situations to their advantage. The silence from the Punjabi music and film industry shows that 90% of the people are under their control. Those who speak up or demand their rightful earnings are silently boycotted and destroyed from all sides.”
While Shree Brar appreciated the actions taken by the Punjab government and police in this matter, he expressed his concerns over potential retaliation. “I know that by taking this step, I have exposed myself to whatever conspiracies they may plan against me. But I will speak the truth till my last breath, no matter what I have to face.”
