Celina Jaitly News: Actress Celina Jaitly has filed a domestic violence case against her Austrian husband, Peter Haag, before the Judicial Magistrate First Class in Andheri Court, Mumbai, seeking damages of rupees 50 crores, according to Hindustan Times and multiple other reports.
The case has been filed under the Domestic Violence Act for domestic violence, cruelty, and manipulation. The matter came up on Tuesday before the court of SC Tadye, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Andheri, for verification and issuance of notice.
The 47-year-old actress has sought rupees 50 crores as damages and additional sums for the loss of income and property. She has also sought a monthly maintenance of rupees 10 lakh.

Celina and Peter have three sons. They married in 2011, according to HT, while TOI reports that they registered their marriage in 2010. The couple welcomed twin boys in 2012.
They had another set of twins in 2017, though one of the babies passed away due to a heart condition. According to the Times of India, Peter has “completely blocked her access to the children,” who are currently in his custody in Austria. Celina has requested “unhindered virtual and telephonic access to the children.”
According to the application cited in the TOI report, Peter “took advantage of her by pressurising her to transfer ownership of her Mumbai residence to his name while she was undergoing severe depression after the death of her newborn child and the passing of both parents within a few months.”
Jaitly is a former Miss Universe runner-up, while Peter is a hotelier and businessman. Following her application, a Mumbai court has issued an official notice to Peter.
