Rubina donating kits with the help of Chahal foundation

The novel Corona virus has disrupted the functioning of several nations. India being a developing country with a large section of population engaged in daily wage earning jobs is facing a tough battle to overcome this disease. The illness has no vaccine for its cure developed till now, which is making the situations more complex.

‘Sargi’ fame actress, Rubina Bajwa along with Gurbaksh Singh Chahal has been working relentlessly towards fighting covid -19. In order to prevent the state of Punjab from reaching the community transmission stage, Chahal foundation set up by Gurbaksh Chahal is running a campaign to raise funds to directly distribute Rapid Test Kits into Punjab hospitals. 

The cost of the kit is currently $18 per unit directly from the factory with shipping, with every donation made, the foundation will contribute for the cost of one additional kit from their end.

PhotoThis campaign is facilitating purchase of as many Rapid Test Kits and providing them directly to Hospitals and NGOs in Punjab.The distribution will be public and transparent.The foundation has already raised $10,000+ in the first 48 hours of its campaign commencement. The Chahal Foundation has raised more than $12,000 till the article published but the target goal is $100,000 to help the situation of coronavirus in Punjab.

Gurbaksh Chahal, Founder of the campaign says, “ At a time, when the world is in crisis, we all must do what we can do to save lives. I am worried about the condition of my state and its people. I am doing my bit and encourage all of you to contribute as much as you can. We need support of each other to come out of this illness. Waheguru Sab Te Meher Kare.”
