IPL 2024 Latest News: In a groundbreaking development ahead of the IPL 2024 mini auction scheduled for December 19 in Dubai, a historic deal has been inked between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians, revolving around the versatile all-rounder, Hardik Pandya. While the official confirmation is pending, reports suggest that Mumbai Indians have secured the services of Hardik Pandya by shelling out a staggering sum of 15 crores in cash.

As the deadline for franchises to retain and release players looms on November 26, the buzz around the IPL trade market has reached a crescendo. The potential return of Hardik Pandya to Mumbai Indians is poised to be the most significant trade in IPL history, with the financial aspect of the deal marking unprecedented territory.

Reports indicate that Mumbai Indians, in their pursuit to bring back the dynamic all-rounder, have executed a trade with Gujarat Titans, involving a monumental cash transaction of 15 crores. Once officially confirmed, this deal will stand out as the largest player trade between two teams in the history of the IPL.

Following the IPL 2023 auction, Mumbai Indians found themselves with a meager Rs 0.05 crore in their purse. However, in preparation for the upcoming auction, the franchise has been granted an additional Rs 5 crore, and the entire amount has been utilized to facilitate the return of Hardik Pandya to the Mumbai Indians squad.

Under his captaincy, Gujarat Titans reached the finals in both the 2022 and 2023 seasons, showcasing his leadership prowess.
