“Not just them, players like Vaibhav and Vihaan are also doing very well,” he added. 

Cricket News: Coach Dinesh Lad called Ayush Mhatre and Abhigyan Kundu “brilliant batters” on Sunday as he praised the India U-19 side as they face Pakistan in the Asia Cup final.

Lad had mentored Indian Captain Ayush Mhatre and Abhigyan Kundu during their Mumbai Under-19 days.

“Ayush has already proven himself in the IPL and Ranji Trophy and is a rising star. If they continue like this, they are our future,”  he said, speaking to news agency PTI.

“Not just them, players like Vaibhav and Vihaan are also doing very well,” he added. 

Coach Dinesh Lad expressed his confidence in the team, saying, “We have a well-balanced team, and I am confident India will win the Asia Cup and the Under-19 World Cup.”
