BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla has expressed confidence in India’s dominance in the match, saying, “India will win the match.” He made the comment, according to a report by the news agency ANI.
This is the second time the two teams are meeting following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which brought bilateral ties between India and Pakistan to a record low.
Earlier, India won the first face-off against Pakistan with a massive victory, successfully chasing 128 runs with seven wickets in hand. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav played a crucial role and was named ‘Player of the Match,’ according to the news report.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli's childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma, told ANI, "The Indian team is in very good form, and the way our batting is, we will surely dominate in the match...The Pakistan team should focus on cricket rather than making an issue of Indian players not shaking hands with them...There is no competition between India and Pakistan, India is way better than them..."
