NEW-DELHI: Harmanpreet Kaur, the acclaimed captain of the Indian women's cricket team, has etched her name in history by becoming the first Indian cricketer, and notably the first woman cricketer, to be featured in the prestigious TIME100 Next 2023 list. This remarkable achievement places Harmanpreet ahead of renowned male cricketers such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and KL Rahul.

The TIME100 Next 2023 list is a compilation of 100 emerging leaders from across the globe. TIME, in its revered list, incorporates individuals who have the potential to inspire future generations. Harmanpreet Kaur's inclusion in the list is a testament to her significant role in elevating women's cricket to one of the world's most valuable sporting assets, powered by her aggressive gameplay and exceptional skills.
