Athlete Younis Reshi Uses Parkour & Freerunning Skills to Inspire Youth to Evade Drug Abuse

Younis Reshi was fond of Parkour and Freerunning since childhood

KASHMIR: South Kashmir’s Youth Younis Reshi is doing best effort to make our society drug free. 27-years-old Younis Reshi uses his Parkour and Freerunning skills to inspire the youngsters to stay away from Drug Abuse. Reshi belongs to Verinag area of South Kashmir. 

As per the media reports, Younis Reshi believes that sports and other physical activity is the best weapon against drug abuse. He is hopeful that his Parkour and Freerunning skills can inspire others, especially youth to evade from drug abuse and with this, he can contribute in making the society drug free.

Younis Reshi was fond of Parkour and Freerunning since childhood. He has clinched many awards at the state and national level in atheletics. In a statement, Younis said, "From 8th class, I commenced as a professional athlete. In 2018, I performed a Sola Ultra-marathon of 135 kilometres under the watch of local civil society in 11 hours and 6 minutes.”
