Rinku Singh Worked as a Domestic Worker in a Coaching Center

Rinku Singh made the world crazy in a few minutes. He needs no introduction now. Rinku smashed five sixes in back-to-back in the last over against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premiere League (IPL 2023) Match.
25-year-old Rinku Singh is the resident of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. He belonged to a lower-middle-class family. His father Khanchand Singh used to deliver LPG cylinders home-to-home. Rinku's brother was an auto rickshaw driver. Player has five siblings. Born on 12 October 1997 in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Rinku spent his childhood in a two-room house. Rinku Singh is not very educated. He failed in 9th standard. After this, he never picked up books and concentrated only on Cricket.
Coming from a poor family, Rinku needed to earn money for the household. In the 2015-16, when Rinku was playing for the UP under-19 side, his family had a debt of Rs 5 lakh. He began saving from his daily allowance and even did the job of a domestic worker in a coaching center where he did sweeping and mopping but he didn't continued the work because his dreams were much bigger.
In a video shared by KKR, Rinku said, "When I was just starting out and had yet to play proper cricket, I was asked to join my brother for a job. I got a job of sweeping and mopping in a coaching centre. I refused because I didn't like the work."
After playing amazingly in the Under-19 team, Rinku Singh made his place in the Ranji team within a short period. In the IPL 2017 auction, Rinku Singh was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 10 lakh. However, subsequently, in 2018, KKR roped him in for a hefty sum of Rs 80 lakh. From there his fortune changed. However, Rinku came into the limelight only after his explosive innings against Lucknow Supergiants last year. In the current IPL, he smashed five sixes against Gujarat Titans.
After the victory, KKR owner and Superstar Shah Rukh Khan posted a photoshopped image of Rinku as the character 'Pathaan' on his official Twitter handle. SRK also praised Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer in the post.
Notably, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), on April 9, defeated Gujarat Titans by three wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Rinku Singh performed amazingly in the match by hitting five sixes in the last over. The Gujarat Titans got off to a brisk start, scoring 54 runs in the powerplay, although they lost the wicket of Wriddhiman Saha. After Saha departed, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan put on 67 runs for the second wicket off 7.2 overs to lay the platform for the Titans. Sunil Narine separated the duo after getting rid of Gill, who scored 39 runs off 31 balls with five fours. Iyer and Nitish Rana put on 100 runs for the third wicket to make sure that the Knights didn’t fall behind the 8-ball. The left-handed Rana also got back amongst the runs, scoring 45 runs before Alzarri Joseph accounted for his wicket.
Significantly, With 29 runs needed off the last over, Rinku smashed Yash Dayal for five sixes in a row to take KKR to victory. He stayed unbeaten on 48 runs off 21 balls with one four and six sixes.
