Houthis Announce They Will Target Ships Linked to Israel, Regardless of Nationality

Gaza and Houthis Latest news – Yemen’s Houthi group has announced that it will begin targeting any ship that deals with Israel, regardless of the company’s nationality, the Jerusalem Post reported on Sunday night, citing a statement issued by the group.

According to the report, the Houthis declared that all countries wishing to avoid escalation should pressure Israel to halt its military actions in Gaza and lift the blockade on the region.

“There is no free person on this earth who can accept what is happening,” the group said in the statement.

The Houthis stated that they had a “religious, moral, and humanitarian responsibility” toward the people of Gaza, and that the suffering of Palestinians was “unacceptable to any human being, let alone Arabs and Muslims.”

“The actions of the Yemeni Armed Forces express our moral and humanitarian commitment to the injustice against the brotherly Palestinian people,” the statement continued.

The group added that all military operations by the Yemeni Armed Forces would cease immediately if Israel ended its aggression on Gaza and lifted the blockade.
