Spokesman found both the videos outdated in its investigation
Philippines Earthquake News: In the past few days, strong earthquake shocks hit the southern Philippines, in which terrible damage was seen and a tsunami alert was also issued with it. Several videos went viral on social media regarding this earthquake. It was inevitable that there were some old cases in these videos. Similarly, 2 videos are going viral on social media regarding the earthquake. In the first video, the roof of an indoor playground is seen collapsing due to the earthquake and in the second video, water is seen coming out of the bathtub at an apartment due to the earthquake.

Spokesman found both the videos outdated in its investigation. Both these videos were old and had nothing to do with the recent earthquake in the Philippines.
Spokesman's Investigation
We examined these two videos one by one.
First video
In the first video, the roof of an indoor playground can be seen collapsing. We first extracted the keyframes of this video and performed a reverse image search on them. This video is old and from Taiwan.
We found this video shared in NBC News report dated 18 September 2022. The report was shared with the title, "Watch: Earthquake ceiling collapse scatters athletes at Taiwan sports club"
According to information, this video was from a sports club in Taiwan where the roof falls on the players due to an earthquake.

Second video
In this video, water can be seen coming out of the bathtub at an apartment due to the earthquake. Like the first video, we first extracted the keyframes of this video and performed a reverse image search on them.
This video is old and from Japan
We found this video shared on Youtube on 15 February 2021. According to the information available here, the video is from Japan, where this scene was seen due to a strong earthquake.
The video was shared by the account RM Videos and titled, "Water Spills Out of Bathtub as it Shakes Rigorously During Earthquake in Japan - 1177525"
Conclusion – Spokesman found both the videos outdated in its investigation. Both these videos were old and had nothing to do with the recent earthquake in the Philippines.
