The Indian and Pakistani diaspora held a peace rally in Surrey, British Columbia With the increasing tensions between the two countries, there is a wave of worry among the Indian and Pakistani diaspora. Recently in Surrey of British Columbia in Canada, the diaspora held a joint rally, to show support for peace among the motherlands. The rally was addressed by prominent personalities like Ken Hardie, Member Parliament, Ujjal Dosanjh former Member Parliament, Dr Gulzaar Cheema,

Randeep Singh Sarai Member Parliament and many more. The common sentiment prevalent there was of love and peace. The diaspora feels that the love with which they live together in Canada should be an example for the Indian and Pakistan residents too, and peaceful co-existence is the only way forward. The diaspora demanded that if both the countries are bent upon a war, they must fight a war on poverty, education and such issues, so that no child in either country goes without education and health facilities.
